Hi fellas!
Global New Media Lab Online Program is reaching its last session. Time flies! I have been working on this campaign since last September 2013, and here are somethings I learned:
Blogger: This blog has everything I do for the campaign. Twitter account, YouTube account, Instagram account, links or articles I found from Google Alerts, Facebook page, everything! One click on this blog and you can access almost other account related to this campaign.
Twitter: Very popular and powerful micro-blogging. It is challenging to write something less than 140 and has to be eye-catchy, since that's how I tried to attract people on--at least--checking on my blog and engaged in my campaign.
Facebook: I am never a big fan of any social media, including Facebook. Having a chance to learn how to manage a page on Facebook was challenging but enjoyable at the same time, and since many people are actively socializing in Facebook, it is an excellent media to promote my campaign.
YouTube: Visualizing my campaign through video was something I would never forget, since that was the first time of me creating a video and posted it in YouTube account. With more practices, hopefully I will get better in using videos and YouTube to deliver my message in the future.
LinkedIn: A very professional social network. Even though not many people I know using LinkedIn, I am so lucky that I had a chance to explore LinkedIn and connect to people who has a 'real' business, not simply socializing and throwing meaningless message.
Instagram: Because of GNML Online Program, I finally made my Instagram account. I have never have intention to make any, but realizing how powerful an image can be, if use in a right way, having Instagram will boost up my campaign big time.
Although this session is the last one, this post is not going to be the last post I post on this blog. After I learned so many things from GNML Online Program, the time for me to apply the knowledge I got is coming. Big thank you for all the staffs in GNML Online Program who lead and support us in finishing this online program.
